February Blog: Dentists and Post Office

Mango Family and friends! Hey y’all! It’s Ms. Maia, I’m taking over the blogs! Isn’t that so exciting? To start off, can y’all believe that February is over already? It was a very short month, but it was FILLED with so much fun and exploration. We began February with the theme of the post office which helped us get very excited for Valentine's Day. Speaking of Valentine’s Day, the party was fantastic, and the kids were talking about it even after it was over!  During the post office theme, the children loved playing in dramatic play center, which was transformed into their very own post office! The children wrote and "delivered" letters to their loved ones, made their own name badges and learned all about what a mail person does for work! We transitioned from post office right into learning all about the dentist! January Blog: Veterinarians and Doctors

Hello Mangos Families and Friends! This month, we began exploring the theme of Community Helpers, focusing on Veterinarians and Doctors. The children have been very engaged in the dramatic play center, where they took on the role of veterinarians caring for their stuffed animals, and later switched to being doctors, tending to their friends, teachers, and baby dolls. We also learned about ice and cold weather, especially as we got to experience snowfall this month! The children have been learning and playing enthusiastically across all our centers, and we couldn’t be more proud of their progress!
