Tango With The Mangos

Hello Mango Families and Friends! This month, we focused on learning all about construction and how buildings are created! We transformed our dramatic play center into a construction site where the children made blueprints, used tools, and worked with building materials to create their own buildings. Over the past few days, we have also been learning about thankfulness and reflecting on the things that make us happy. The children have enjoyed creating feasts in the dramatic play center and crafting holiday decorations in the art center. We want to take a moment to express how thankful we are for each and every one of you. Your children bring so much joy into our lives, and we couldn’t be happier to be their teachers, watching them grow and learn so much at school.  Hello Mango Family and Friends! This month has been fantastic as we’ve learned all about trees, farms, and pumpkins! We transformed our dramatic play area into an Apple Orchard and a Pumpkin Cafe, where the children enjoyed selling fruits, vegetables, pastries, and other delicious treats you might find in a cafe. We explored the sensory garden more closely, taking a good look at the trees surrounding our school. The children created observational drawings of these trees. We also made pens for our farm animals and played with them inside a pumpkin patch for some small world play. We delved into the world of pumpkins and gourds, using magnifying glasses to examine the outer skin closely. We had a blast engaging with all the fall items, and we can’t wait to start our construction unit next week!
