February Blog: Dentists and Post Office

Hey y’all! It’s Ms. Maia, I’m taking over the blogs! Isn’t that so exciting? To start off, can y’all believe that February is over already? It was a very short month, but it was FILLED with so much fun and exploration. We began February with the theme of the post office which helped us get very excited for Valentine's Day. Speaking of Valentine’s Day, the party was fantastic, and the kids were talking about it even after it was over!

During the post office theme, the children loved playing in dramatic play center, which was transformed into their very own post office! The children wrote and "delivered" letters to their loved ones, made their own name badges and learned all about what a mail person does for work!

We transitioned from post office right into learning all about the dentist! The children have been having so much fun pretending to be dentists and exploring all the tools they may see at the dentist office! It has been so incredible seeing them pretend to be dentists and hearing the conversations they have with each other about it.

The kids have been having such a fantastic time moving throughout the centers and using all the toys in such a creative way! March is here and its finally time to move into my personal favorite themes, bugs and flowers!

¡Familia y amigos de Mango!

¡Hola a todos! Soy la Sra. Maia, ¡me hago cargo de los blogs! ¿No es emocionante? Para empezar, ¿pueden creer que febrero ya terminó? Fue un mes muy corto, pero estuvo LLENO de mucha diversión y exploración. Comenzamos febrero con el tema de la oficina de correos, lo que nos ayudó a estar muy entusiasmados por el Día de San Valentín. Hablando del Día de San Valentín, la fiesta fue fantástica y los niños estuvieron hablando de ella incluso después de que terminó.

Durante el tema de la oficina de correos, a los niños les encantó jugar en el centro de juego dramático, que se transformó en su propia oficina de correos. Los niños escribieron y "entregaron" cartas a sus seres queridos, hicieron sus propias placas con nombres y aprendieron todo sobre lo que hace un cartero en su trabajo.

¡Pasamos de la oficina de correos directamente a aprender todo sobre el dentista! ¡Los niños se han estado divirtiendo mucho jugando a ser dentistas y explorando todas las herramientas que pueden ver en el consultorio del dentista! Ha sido increíble verlos jugar a ser dentistas y escuchar las conversaciones que tienen entre ellos al respecto.

¡Los niños se lo han pasado genial moviéndose por los centros y usando todos los juguetes de una manera muy creativa! ¡Llegó marzo y finalmente llegó el momento de pasar a mis temas favoritos, los insectos y las flores!
